List of Negro League baseball players

The people below are some of the most famous who played Negro League baseball, beginning with its first organized structure in 1920 until 1960, after Major League Baseball's color line barring African American players had been broken. The list includes two types of players: (1) some players who played Negro League baseball very early in their career and were able to go on to play Major League Baseball and (2) some players who only played in the Negro Leagues. Members of the Baseball Hall of Fame are noted with a β.
