List of Mexican Federal Highways

This is a list of numbered federal highways (carreteras federales) in Mexico. Toll roads (in Spanish, autopistas) are named after the parallel free road, with the letter D added; for example, Mexican Federal Highway 1D parallels Mexican Federal Highway 1. See also: List of Mexican autopistas
The Pan-American Highway also passes through Mexico.

- Federal Highway 1 – Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, to Tijuana, Baja California.
- Federal Highway 1D – Ensenada, Baja California, to Tijuana, Baja California.
- Federal Highway 2 – Tijuana, Baja California, to Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; then Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, to Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
- Federal Highway 2D – Tijuana, Baja California, to Mexicali, Baja California.
- Federal Highway 3 – La Trinidad, Baja California, to Tecate La Rumorosa, Baja California.
- Federal Highway 5 – San Felipe, Baja California, to Mexicali, Baja California.
- Federal Highway 8 – Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, to Sonoyta, Sonora.
- Federal Highway 10 – Janos, Chihuahua, to El Sueco, Chihuahua.
- Federal Highway 12 – San Francisquito, Baja California to junction with Federal Highway 1 north of Punta Prieta, Baja California.
- Federal Highway 14 – Hermosillo, Sonora, to Moctezuma, Sonora.
- Federal Highway 15 – Mexico City to Nogales, Sonora.
- Federal Highway 16 – Hermosillo, Sonora, to Ojinaga, Chihuahua.
- Federal Highway 19 – Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, to junction with Federal Highway 1 south of San Pedro, Baja California Sur.
- Federal Highway 23 – Guadalajara, Jalisco, to Fresnillo, Zacatecas.
- Federal Highway 24 – Pericos, Sinaloa, to Santiago de los Caballeros, Sinaloa; Guadalupe y Calvo, Chihuahua, to junction with Federal Highway 16 southwest of Chihuahua, Chihuahua.
- Federal Highway 27 – Mezquital to Durango, Durango.
- Federal Highway 29 – Morelos (?) to Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila (?)
- Federal Highway 30 – La Zarca to Monclova, Coahuila.
- Federal Highway 37 – Guacamayas to ?
- Federal Highway 39 – Canatlán to Tepehuanes, Rodeo to Pedriceña
- Federal Highway 40 – Mazatlán, Sinaloa, to Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
- Federal Highway 40D – West of Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon; then from west of Saltillo, Coahuila to Matamoros, Coahuila; then from Gomez Palacio, Durango to Durango, Durango. The Durango to Mazatlan section is under construction.
- Federal Highway 42 – Morelia, Michoacán (?) to Irapuato, Guanajuato (?)

- Federal Highway 70 – north of Apozol to Tampico, Tamaulipas.
- Federal Highway 80 – San Patricio to southwest of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Huizache to Manuel
- Federal Highway 85 – Mexico City to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.
- Federal Highway 90 – Zamora de Hidalgo to Irapuato, Guanajuato.
- Federal Highway 93 – Chilpancingo, Guerrero, to Acatlan.
- Federal Highway 95 – Acapulco, Guerrero, to Mexico City.
