- ^ a b Christmas Special
- ^ Instrumental breaks were performed to the captains
- ^ which Lamarr 'remixed' with the use of a hand-held button-stick
- ^ Intros were performed, in their own signature style, to Bill's team, by The Wurzelsand, to Phill's, Bad Manners
- ^ Lamarr insists Garraway perform an intro to the others upon her failure - she chooses Dancing Queen, Abba
- ^ a b Lemarr then uses a stethoscope prop to 'listen' to Bez's, Bill's and his own, heads. From Bez we hear loud, heavy trance music, from Bill, the cries of birds of prey, and from Mark, "Suicide Is Painless", and, later, upon proclaiming his happiness at Bex's antics, a jaunty sea shanty
- ^ to which Lemarr sings Do Wah Diddy Diddy. When Bez seems to turn the question to Mark, he guesses it correctly, thus possibly winning the point himself
- ^ of which Lamar gives a rendition
- ^ Lamar's suggestions: Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Manfred Mann; Theme from "The Bill"
- ^ confused with Theme from "Jaws"
- ^ actually Word Up!, Cameo, which Phill got, Lamarr later asserts that the intro was Daytrip to Bangor, Fiddler's Dram
- ^ actually Ray of Light, Madonna
- ^ Bill sang the chorus (more importantly, the title), and was reprimanded for cheating. Whether or not a point was gained, or, indeed, lost, is not certain
