This is a list of highways in the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area.

- Alvin Freeway - Spur 5 south-southeast of downtown. The only segment not parallel to the Gulf Freeway, that has been built so far is between the Gulf Freeway and Old Spanish Trail.
- Baytown-East Freeway - Interstate Highway 10 east of downtown
- Crosby Freeway - U.S. Highway 90 east-northeast of downtown
- Decker Drive - Spur 330 in Baytown
- Eastex Freeway - U.S. Highway 59 north-northeast of downtown
- Emmett F. Lowry Expressway - Farm to Market Road 1764 in Texas City
- Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road - south-southwest of downtown
- Fred Hartman Bridge and approaches - State Highway 146 in La Porte and Baytown
- Grand Parkway - State Highway 99 outer beltway. Only section D in the west has been built.
- Gulf Freeway - Interstate Highway 45 southeast of downtown
- Hardy Toll Road - north of downtown
- Katy Freeway - Interstate Highway 10 west of downtown
- La Porte Freeway - State Highway 225 east-southeast of downtown
- South, West, North and East Loop - Interstate Highway 610 beltway around downtown
- North Freeway - Interstate Highway 45 north-northwest of downtown
- Northwest Freeway - U.S. Highway 290 north-northwest of downtown
- Sam Houston Tollway - beltway near the city limits (frontage roads are Beltway 8)
- South Freeway - State Highway 288 south of downtown
- Southwest Freeway - U.S. Highway 59 and Spur 527 north of downtown
- Tomball Parkway - State Highway 249 northwest of downtown
- Westpark Tollway and Fort Bend Westpark Tollway - west-southwest of downtown

- Parts of Section I-2 of the Grand Parkway are under construction.

- Fairmont/Red Bluff Freeway - planned from State Highway 146 southeast of Houston to Beltway 8. Only frontage roads have been built.
- NASA Road 1 Bypass - short bypass to the south of NASA Road 1 in Webster.
- Sections A, B, C, E, F1, F2, G, H, and I-1 of Grand Parkway are in various stages of the planning process.
- Alvin Freeway - Spur 5 south-southeast of downtown. This freeway is planned to be built from its present southern terminus at Old Spanish Trail to south of Beltway 8.
- Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road is planned to eventually be extended from its northern terminus at U.S. 90A to the southwest corner of the 610 Loop.
- Hardy Toll Road is planned to be extended from its southern terminus at the North Loop to Downtown Houston.
[edit] Limited-access highways

- Allen Parkway - Between I-45 and Shepherd Drive, a distance of 2.3 miles (3.7 km), Allen Parkway is a limited access parkway.
- Grand Parkway - Parts of section D (south of the Westpark Tollway) are not up to full freeway standards but will be in the future.
- Memorial Drive - From Houston Street to just west of Shepherd Drive, a distance of 2.3 miles (3.7 km), Memorial Drive is a limited-access parkway with exits at Heights Blvd./Waugh Drive and Shepherd Drive.
- South Main Street - U.S. Highway 90 Alternate south-southwest of downtown

- South Main Street (U.S. Highway 90 Alternate) is currently under construction between the current southern end of freeway mainlanes near South Post Oak Road to near the Sam Houston Tollway.

- Future construction is planned on U.S. Highway 90 Alternate to add freeway lanes between the Sam Houston Tollway and the city of Sugar Land.
