- Phoebe cheats in a poetry contest in her class by copying a poem out of a book. However, she thinks the statue she wins of Emily Dickinson is calling her a cheater, such is her guilty conscience.

Arnold goes on holiday to the beach with his grandparents and the other boarders, intending to get away from Helga Pataki who has been harassing him. Much to both their surprises, Helga and her family are also there. He meets a girl called Summer who he warms to, but Helga knows otherwise about her motives in being with him, and tries to warn him.
- Second episode where Arnold and Helga kiss.

- Arnold, Harold, and Eugene get on each others nerves when the manage to get stuck in a tree.

- Harold is angry at Big Patty beating him in an arm wrestling match, especially as Sid and Stinky are laughing at him because of it.
- After saving a man from being hit in the face with a puck at an ice hockey match, Arnold and Grandpa are invited to his house. They realize he's a multi-millionaire, but Arnold discovers money doesn't buy happiness for everyone.

- Gerald becomes obsessed with the card game, The King Rules, diminishing his and Arnold's relationship.
- Arnold and some of his friends and their fathers go on a fishing trip, but end up getting into all sorts of mishaps

- Arnold and Helga are paired together by Rhonda's origami marriage predictor. The pair both dream that night what it would be like if they were married to each other.

- After 9/11 Nickelodeon stopped airing this episode due to Helga's dream from the future in which the New York City skyline included the World Trade Center.
The episode is noticable as perhaps being the best evidence of Arnold's own surpressed affection for Helga, as she nearly confesses her love for him in his own dreams.

- Arnold "blinds" Helga as a part of an April Fool's prank, after she plays one too many on him for his liking.

- Rhonda's mother's coat gets dirtied. Curly offers to clean it for her in his parents' dry cleaning store on one condition: he and Rhonda agree to, publicly, be a couple, much to Rhonda's disgust

- When this episode was originally intended to air, on October 11, 2002, Nickelodeon began airing "Married" instead. The network did not catch the mistake until just after the second half of the episode began, when they switched to the regularly scheduled "Curly's Girl". After this gaffe, Nickelodeon did not rerun the episode until November 19, 2003, when they repeated the same mistake. On January 11, 2004, the episode was finally aired in full.

- Arnold finds a diary and map that tell him more about his parents-- and their possible location.
This was originally intended to be a lead in for a conceptual second Hey Arnold! movie, and was the very last episode to be made, in 2001.

- Gerald's little sister Timberly falls for Arnold after playing in the park. Arnold uses her as a way of getting Lila's attention.
- Arnold and his friends take part in the musical Eugene, Eugene. Eugene (who, of course, gets the lead role) is outraged when the ending of the play is altered, and he and Arnold conspire to restore the play back to its original ending
Jamie-o is mentioned but does not make an appearance.

- After Gerald's urban tale, the kids go looking for a murderous ghost who's fiancee left her at the altar. The gang look for her in a cemetery-- but Helga and Curly, both have other ideas.
- Gerald acquires a crush on his new neighbor, Chloe. It turns out that she only spends time with Gerald to see Gerald's brother, Jamie-O.
This is the 4th and final appearance of Jamie-o.

- A film crew shoots a documentary of Mr Simmons' class to be screened on TV, but Simmons feels that they should follow a script, rather than be spontaneous
- Big Bob becomes brainwashed by a cult, and he and the family live without material possessions, much to Helga's horror
(the latter being the final episode to have all of the Pataki family in it)
