[edit] Released multiplayer mods

  • Specialists, The - a multiplayer action movie mod/total conversion. It is intended to resemble a generic action movie, and is often compared to the film Face/Off, though several of the default models and some of the gameplay elements appear to be references to The Matrix. It contains over 29 weapons and many powerups. The object of the Deathmatch game mode is to get as many frags as possible.
  • Sven Co-op website - a co-op mod in which players fight against computer controlled enemies. Apart from a lot of user contributed missions it is also possible to play co-operativly through the original Half-Life game. Ranked #5 mod of 2005 by ModDB.

Multiplayer stats

To find out how many players and servers of a specific mod are online, there is a variety of game server browsers and web stats. With Steam, Valve has its game server browser and web stats, too. However only few web stats are reliable, even the Steam stats are contradicting the results of its own game server browser. [1]
