- Ferris MC, from Hamburg, known for his curly blond hair, rough voice and hardcore rhymes. Also calls himself the "Billy Idol" of raps

- Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt, Moses Pelham’s gangsta rap-influenced mid-90s hip hop project posed a more hardcore alternative to the commercial German hip-hop mainstream of the time. They had reasonable commercial success but disbanded toward the end of the nineties.

- Brothers Keepers is an anti-racism project, bringing together hip hop, reggae and soul musicians.

- Mongo Clikke is a collective of Hamburg rappers, primarily comprising Ferris MC, Mister Schnabel, Samy Deluxe, Doppelkopf, Fünf Sterne Deluxe, Dendemann from Eins Zwo and Jan Eißfeldt aka Boba Ffett from the Beginner.
- ASA is a project of underground rappers from Leverkusen to Düsseldorf, they try to unit different styles, including Bligga, Mad tha Mac Merten, Pothead and the Mikrophil Crew, Fix, MC4 and Amok Beg. ASA website
- Aggro Berlin is a group of some famous artists from Berlin. Their group members include Sido, B-Tight and Fler, as well as G-Hot, Tony D. and formerly also Bushido.
