List of East African ODI cricketers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a list of One-day International cricketers representing East Africa. A One-day International, or an ODI, is an international cricket match between two representative teams, each having ODI status, as determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC). An ODI differs from Test matches in that the number of overs per team is limited, and that each team has only one innings. The list is arranged in the order in which each player won his first ODI cap. Where more than one player won his first ODI cap in the same match, those players are listed alphabetically by surname.
East Africa were invited to compete in the 1975 cricket World Cup and the team included players from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The countries making up the East African cricket team now have separate cricket authorities and play under their own national flags. As a result of this East Africa ceased to be a member of the International Cricket Council in 1989. This list is therefore complete and will not be added to in the future.
