[edit] History
Lismore began in late 2002, when Stephen Hindman, formerly known as drum and bass producer "DJ Kingsize", began experimenting with electronic beats and slowly started to incorporate his neighbor, Penelope Trappes. Once Trappes and Hindman decided that their experemental sound had potential, they spent most of 2003 in the studio creating their debut album We Could Connect or We Could Not. In 2003, Ingrid Dahl and Damon Gray were added to the band's lineup in order to enhance their live shows.
Lismore often plays in local New Jersey music festivals and New York City, and has recently finished a tour of the eastern United States, following up a fall tour of Canada. Their second album, As I Panic to Tell You... is nearing completion and set for release in late summer.
