Lisa Zaran

Lisa Zaran (born Lisa Marie Hoie, September 26, 1969, in Los Angeles, California) is an American poet and artist. Lisa is the middle child to Joan and Leonard Hoie, Norwegian immigrants. She attended both public schools and Lutheran academies growing up. Her first published poems appeared in two quarterly volumes called The Writer's Gazette and The Laureatte Letter.
Best known for her collection of vignettes and short poems entitled, the sometimes girl.
