Lisa Cholodenko

Lisa Cholodenko (born June 5, 1964) is an American filmmaker who grew up in Los Angeles and earned an MFA at Columbia University School of the Arts where she made an award winning short film Dinner Party. Her feature High Art won the National Society of Film Critics award for Ally Sheedy's performance and The Waldo Salt Screenwriting award at Sundance. Both High Art and Laurel Canyon premiered at Cannes Director's Fortnight. She has written and will direct The Kids are All Right.
