Liquor License Act (Ontario)

The Liquor Licensing Act came into effect in 1947 to control the sale and distribution of alcohol in Ontario. Alcohol is still sold by the province at the LCBO, but also sold by non-government locations like The Beer Store and the Wine Rack.

The act was replaced by the Alcohol and Gaming Regulation and Public Protection Act (Ontario).
