A listing of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) terminals. According to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) [1], there are only five LNG terminals operating in the United States as of October 2006. However, a number of applications for new LNG terminals are at various stages of approval. Eighteen new LNG terminals have recently been approved by FERC and the U.S. Coast Guard. Another twenty LNG terminals are proposed and pending approval.
