[edit] Steroids are not esters

There is a small mistake here. If lipids are esters, and steroids are lipids, then one can conclude that steroids are esters which is FALSE. To correct this, not all lipids are esters! Some bods following this logic make mistakes. Please your comments. (Also thanks go to User:Alai for pointing it out) --Kupirijo 15:53, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

You're welcome, I like to think my numerous errors are somehow instructive. :) "Chinese whispers" in the category system are not unusual, and I like to think I'm careful to eyeball for this sort of thing before starting a 'bot run; however, sometimes it's not obvious to the non-expert. If lipids and esters are related, but there's no proper inclusion relationship between the two, then I'd recommend that the categories might be "see also" cross linked in some manner, rather than one being made a sub-category of the other.
