Hey LionK. Nope I don't know any SteveO. What's going on? Herostratus 20:54, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

- Have I upset you my dear? Typical Millwall fan. I told you why Wikipedia is here beacuse don't appear to know. Its not here just to overstate the achievments of your team. SteveO 16:47 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- By football police, do you mean those trying to give a balanced view of Millwall's achivements rather than a mere panegyric? Oh, and tou chez! SteveO 18:18 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- I've started a discussion on the Millwall page. Cheers. SteveO 20:42 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- I wondered how long it would be before you resorted to insults. Have you ever considered that your own petty pride has something to do with it? SteveO 14:52 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Using facts now, are we? I thought you didn't like facts. You certainly didn't like the facts I put in the Millwall article. (ps sorry for the lateness of the reply, I've been busy the last few days) SteveO 14:55 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Grapevine
I was at Hero's talk page, and saw your problems, lemme give a see to this. karmafist 06:32, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- Ok, let me know if he puts it back at the Millwall article, i'll protect the page. He was on the verge of 3RRing there, but didn't quite do it, and it isn't really big enough of an edit war to cause a fuss in my opinion. Try to work it out if you can, and let me know if I can lend a hand if needed. karmafist 06:43, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] No Hooliganism Here
Ok, Hooliganism might work over in the UK's stadiums, but here on Wikipedia, that ain't cool, my brutha. Let's try to figure out if we can come to a compromise here, or i'll protect the page. karmafist 18:43, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Geezers?
Big hard geezers? Does that have something to do with Viagra? The Pats are going to win the AFC East no doubt, but it's looking grim for their chances to repeat as Super Bowl champs.
Anyway, thanks for the history lesson, I wonder why the Millwall dock workers didn't go on strike for better wages as well, it didn't say anything about it in that article on the West Ham page -- their home uniforms look damn fruity if you ask me, and that song about bubbles and sticking things up asses? They must have a big queer fan base. Everybody knows that if you're going to have a team song it should be about riots and women written in the 1900s sung by a punk band.
It's interesting that regardless of the culture, sports rivalries have similiar threads. Even though it goes back farther, the Red Sox and Yankees fans really started to hate each other after Harry Frazee sold Babe Ruth to the Yanks, beginning what was known as the Curse of the Bambino, which we broke last year. Maybe now the Yanks are cursed eh?
Boston and New York's rivalry would probably be there without any history, Beantown has a big chip on its shoulder when being compared to NYC in anything(lemme ask you this, does the average Englishman know where Boston is? They might, but I bet far more known where New York is.) In addition to that, the Yanks' arrogance has caused fans from Cleveland, Atlanta, Seattle, Minneapolis, and to a lesser extent Los Angeles and Brooklyn claim that they have rivalries with the pinstripers from what i've heard, even though their rivalries suck compared to ours with NY. karmafist 19:06, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] RE:Millwall page(s)
- Please note that the exchange below contains football banter, and is not meant to be offensive. Well, not really..
(but not related to recent dramas)
A belated reply to your message on my talk page. I see you have been quite busy recently, so I expect you have not been too worried about being ignored by li'l ol' me.. Thanks, I didn't do much on the actual Millwall page though, except add an external link that I have found quite interesting, and add it to Category:Millwall F.C., which it should have been in from the start (and I added the stadiums to that cat too). I should point out that I'm a West Ham fan, so be sure to check my edits for POV ;-) I made a start on the page for the old den (rescued from New Pages), but being a West Ham fan, I don't really have the inclination to do too much work on it ;-) I think it deserves more work though.. Maybe I'll see you at the Orient next season ;-) - N (talk) 01:25, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] JUST BANTER
-
-
- Chill out mate, I'm only joking ;-)
- Given the long and illustrious rivalry between our two clubs, you can't expect there to be sweetness and light between us though can you? It's an interesting issue, and one I take only partially seriously, football is supposed to be fun and is certainly not worth offending people over (if I did, I apologise). The Spanish refer to the intense rivalry between two clubs as morbo. We don't really have a word for it, and hatred is often, inapproprately, used. I certainly don't hate Millwall or their fans (with the exception of the minority that have gained the club its reputation), but do enjoy a bit of vaguely insulting banter with them (as I do with fans of Burberry Hotspud, Chavski and ManUre). I am of course more than prepared to accept some stick in return. Our inability to beat you in 6 attempts is probably worthy of a dig, and the 4-1 in 2003-04 still pains me.. ;-) N (talk) 13:10, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

- LOL, yeah, Dowie's too good for Palace. In answer to your question (seriously this time), Teddy has been vital in some of our games this season, especially at the start when other (younger and less experienced) players were finding their Premiership feet. Unfortunately, he has also been missing in others. It really depends on the way the team is playing, given the fact that he is almost pensionable and can't run anymore (not that he ever really could). It's sometimes obvious that in a fast pace game with sudden switches in play and counter attacks, he can't keep up. He's been injured for the last couple of games, so Bobby's been getting a few starts. TBH, his goal of the month against Birmingham (it would be a travesty if it wasn't, Rooney against Wigan was great but he does that every week) might well secure the Z-Man's place in the team, at least for a little while.. - N (talk) 17:39, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] England, assorted insults, and uninvited history lessons
As I'm sure you know perfectly well, for historical reasons there is an English cricket team and an English football team, but that does not mean there is a country called England. England is a region within the United Kingdom and has been ever since the Act of Union with Scotland in 1707. Grow up and stop wasting people's time. Adam 06:10, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
If you don't make stupid edits you won't be in need of advice. Adam 11:01, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
Adam is 100% correct in his edits. There has not been a state called England since the Act of Union of 1707. Queen Elizabeth was born in the United Kingdom. England is a historical political term and a current day geographical and sporting one. It does not exist as a state and has not for nearly 300 years. If you try to add in inaccurate information it will simply be deleted. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 05:11, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
To stop you making stupid edits. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 21:07, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
- My name. Don't be so paranoid. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 22:59, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
If you bothered to check my user page you would see that Fear Éireann is Irish and means Man of Ireland. Fear = 'Man'. Éireann = genitive case of Ireland, meaning 'of Ireland'. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 02:20, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] England, and MY page is now "Speakers Corner".
England is one of the 4 British nations. It has not been independent since 1707. Scotland, Ulster, & Wales are also British nations. England is the odd one out,as it does not have its own Parliament or Assembly. Ulster's Assembly has been suspended, thanks to the subhumans from Sinn Féin/I.R.A. engaging in the promotion of Britanniphobic hatred & terrorism against the Protestant majority in Ulster & the Protestant minority in the Republic of Ireland itself - a form of 'ethnic cleansing' similar to what the Serbs were doing in Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, & Kosovo. - (Aidan Work 03:03, 25 December 2005 (UTC))
- "subhumans", eh? What does that make you, Aidan Work, for making such extreme use of Wikipedia for your personal soapbox. When people call others subhumans, then genocide is not far away. Stop. 68.164.153.119 08:21, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Jtdirl
G'day Lion King,
"Fear Eireann" is just Jtdirl's way of expressing pride in his country. It's not intended as a threat, or anything of the sort. I've only seen him make one objectionable comment above, and I'll leave a note on his talkpage (as a neutral) about it. I'm sure he didn't intend any insult or anything like that. Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 08:28, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
He is pretty fearsome, though. Adam 07:58, 27 December 2005 (UTC) An example of an Aussie Joke ! Lion King
[edit] the Hurricanes
Your edits on the Beatles page broke the wiki links. Perhaps a redirect to Rory Storm and the Hurricanes is in order? (or a move of said article) John 20:22, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for reverting. After looking at the style guide I might get pedantic myself and do the move of the Rory (and Gary)'s article.

That IP is shared by god-knows-how-many users, but his addition to London seemed legitimate, I guess it came from one of the good users of that IP. He's on my list of suspicious IPs now, though. [edit] Beatles ULC
I noticed you had beatles listed so I assume you're responding the ULC comment. I think it's nonsense too, I'm pretty sure I would have heard of it. Even so, I'm not expert. If you think you are then please remove it from the ULC and Beatles page for me since you're authorized :) I just didn't feel comfortable removing it from ULC because someone might have been right about it... - User:tyciol (I lack the skills to do the cool tags)

[edit] Dylan on Beatles
Hey,
Sorry I couldn't be more supportive (to you and Mr. Jfg284) on The Beatles thing. Had to report what I found. . .
I'm back here really, however, to suggest that Dylan doesn't belong in the article where you replaced him. I haven't spent the time to really sort out how it should work, but where you added him back they are talking about early influences - whose tunes they were jamming on as they were learning and when they were in Hamburg. Dylan doesn't influence them (they say) until Rubber Soul. . .

[edit] Western League
Great mate, though not quite as great as before the FA Cup draw earlier. Bloody Bolton again. Still, third time lucky eh.. Not too sure about this Western League thing. I'd never heard of it, and I can't find anything too official that mentions it. There is this page that records it:
1906-07 Western League Division 1B Champions. Overall Champions after beating Division 1A Champions Fulham 1-0 at Chelsea (15 April 1907)
I'm pretty sure that'll have been the reserve team. Our progression into the Football League started through the Southern League Second Division, which we joined in 1899. We moved to the Southern League First Division the following year but stayed there for yonks. We came fifth in the Southern League First Division in 1907. That page doesn't mention this, but the reserves page does. I think they have that the wrong way round. There is also a page for West Ham United "A" just to confuse matters. This page of spud results shows that the Western League ran concurrently with the Southern League, with some matches being played a couple of days apart. The Wikipedia page states that:
In the years before the Second World War, many teams played in both the Southern and Western Leagues; the Western League was considered as subservient to the Southern League.
The list of champions does show a number of other clubs that fielded reserve teams in the league.
I'll let you know if I find anything else. As an aside, it seems strange that we would be involved in a Western league. Did they let us in because of the West in the name? We aren't really west of anything.. - N (talk) 23:04, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I think we'll need it. I asked User:Spyrides if he knew anything about the Western League. He didn't, but gave this reply. - N (talk) 22:12, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandal warning system
I think the chain of warnings goes something like {{test1}} to {{test4}}, if it's an obvious vandal (i.e. not a ''tester'', you could skip directly to {{test2}}, sometimes you might go directly to {{test3}}, like if you see that the user had vandalized a lot of articles that went unnoticed on their talk page. If they vandalize after {{test4}}, it's time to post the user/IP at WP:AIV, which should solve things pretty quickly.
Also, I gave the guy a {{test3}}, like you asked for. Obli (Talk) 20:21, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] re: Sara Dylan
Lion King! Hey! Sorry about taking time to get back you, just catching up on stuff.
OK, my take on it is:
- In a minor case like this its OK to revert once, with an edit summary something like "I liked it the way it was" or, better, "I liked it the way it was, contact me if disagree".
- The person might go "enh, fine" and leave it alone. Or the person might have been just passing thru and won't even see your revert. Either way, since you're more interested in the article than he is, it seems OK to leave it at your version.
- If the person reverts you back, don't revert a second time, you have to message him and go thru the blah-blah-blah like we did. Just like you did then, you probably have give a little / get a little. If the person is uncooperative or doesn't respond, you have to decide if you want to force the issue. I think a second revert with an edit summary like "Previous editor did not respond to message, reverting again" or whatever. But definately no more than two reverts.
BTW I agree with the other editor. In an article on Tony Blair you woudn't see "Tony did this, did that, etc." it would "Blair"; same thing here. But it's not a big deal, either way is OK with me, but others might be more picky.
You want to hear about troubles... remember AJ Weberman? I wrote an article about him, even emailed back a forth a bit with him, well he and some other people came on and messed with the article... I gotta go take a look at it, I'm afraid to look lol. Wiki on!Herostratus
[edit] Quarry men
I almost reverted this one when I saw it as well, but looking at the article linked, one could make a good argument for it being Quarry Men (that appears to be what was painted on the drum kit. John (Jwy) 05:14, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: berk
Can you cite a source for your recent change? The OED mentiones both Berkely and Berkshire (albeit Berkshire in brackets) - "Abbrev. of Berkeley (or Berkshire) Hunt, rhyming slang for cunt." I think Berkely sounds much more likely but I also tend to trust the OED. Any thoughts? --Cherry blossom tree 23:57, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, the "Berkshire" in brackets in the OED has always seemed strange to me as it's DEF. "Berkeley". I, nor any family member have ever heard of "Berkshire Hunt". Please feel free to Rv. if you feel I'm incorrect. Cheers, Lion King 00:13, 22 March 2006 (UTC) P.S. Chambers, only lists Berkeley Hunt. Be lucky, Lion King 00:59, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

- I agree that Berkshire seems far less likely. If Chambers only lists one then I'm happy to go with that. I'll change the reference to point there. Thanks. --Cherry blossom tree 22:49, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Millwall F.C. page
This site has our 30th March version without it being credited to us - is this allowed? Cheers, Lion King 18:29, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- No, definitely not! They can use it but they must give credit, either by crediting Wikipedia and linking back to the article on this site or by listing the authors. Since you are presumably one of the authors you are also one of the copyright owners so you can contact them and politely inform of this (getting less polite if they ignore your request, perhaps). [edit] RE:English-football.org.uk
Hi Lion King, hope you're well, and that Millwall's performances aren't getting you down too much. Sorry, I'm still harbouring hopes of seeing you at Brisbane Road next season ;-)
That site seems to be crediting Wikipedia on their articles now. Looking at the Mirrors and forks page, the site had been noticed, so they must have responded to that. The GFDL allows reproduction, as long as you attribute Wikipedia. Unfortunately, there are sites that don't, but there is a procedure for them. The bottom of the article now has This article is licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License. It uses material from the Wikipedia article "West Ham United F.C.", so it looks like it worked. All the best. - Nzd (talk) 12:18, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

I used to go in my two-tone "tonic" trousers and "royal" shoes and they played all the right music.... don´t groan!! they used to play Marvin Gaye- I heard it thru´the grapevine..etc., etc., It was somewhere around Rotherhithe New Rd- Idleton Rd.. After there, we used to go the Pineapple at the Elephant... coz we were all tuff boyz.. we were all bent as a**´oles, but tuff as nails.. maybe I shouldn´t have said that..there you go..!! But we all had a girl tagging on.. I had an Irene ..wooooh.... Do you know where I mean..?? Maybe you can ´elp wiv the name.. The was an equivalent in Tottenham at White Hart Lane, called the "British Queen" and there were some tuff nuts in there too! Sort of "Son of Ronnie Kray" crowd. By the way I´ve been following your edits on Cockney dying out... I´m off to London in July, so I´ll give you a low-down on whether I think things have changed... Now when I lived in London people didn´t used to say "there you go" when they served a meal or "bear with me a moment" and "brilliant" was only used when talking about my teeth!! LOL ..What sort of music do you play then?? I´d be interested to know.. that is, if you want give out that sort of info here??!!?? rest that hand :o) IsarSteve 23:37, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

- ´sme again..Thanks for the names of the "boozers" unfortunately they weren´t what I was looking for. So I got in contact wiv someone who was also there in those days, and what d´ya know.. "Apples & Pears"!! that was it.. (As avid contributors to "Cockney", we should ´ave got that one??).. It was a sixties style building, and 1970 was its heyday, I think. My friend told me that the whole area has been redeveloped again since then, and that the Pub´s not there anymore... cheers and rest that wrist IsarSteve 16:22, 29 May 2006 (UTC) By the way, I knew that "Pineapple", the pub at the Elephant was similiar, now I remember why, all being fruits.. & P.S. I think Polythene Pam really was called Pam... "dressed in drag ..in a polythene bag..yeah, you should see polythene pam...."
[edit] re: Sara Dylan
That sucks. I'm pretty much on a wikibreak for a while but I'll take a look at it later on, thanx for the update. Herostratus 01:12, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Den Stadium location
According to all maps I can find on the internet the location of the New Den appears to be just inside the Lewisham LB border (i.e. New Cross - not Deptford as I had put in the Millwall and Stadium article). See [4] for example. On the other hand [5] shows that postally (red line) the ground is in SE16 (i.e. Bermondsey), but politcally (thick light blue line) is in Lewisham. It wasn't a change I made without doing some research. I first noticed it when looking at the page on Simon Hughes as I had always thought that the old Den and then the New Den were in Lewisham LB as Millwall had been sponsored by the council at some point though probably before the ground change. Best wishes with the new season in League one. -- Phildav76 12:31, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you, my dear Lion King!
Thank you, my dear Lion! I sincerely believe you're too kind regarding my ramblings at my userpage; sometimes, when I simply feel like saying something I may go and spend two hours writing nonsense there... as you may have already observed! Seriously, thanks so much, hun. Your userpage looks so... English, in the very best sense of it! Next time I visit London, promise you'll show me around: I have yet to see a soccer match at Wembley someday ;) Btw, do you want me to arrange a bit your userpage? I can think of a couple of enhancements you may like, if you allow me. Big hug! Phædriel ♥ tell me - 23:49, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lion King Theatre
Blimey! it must be quite something to have a theatre named after oneself! --IsarSteve 08:19, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

- By the way, you said I should let you know what I thought about London after my visit. I was in London, the day England played and dropped out. It was amazing how different the atmosphere was, to how it is in Berlin when Germany play. Also the day after, I was amazed how quickly the flags disappeared. They are still flying in Berlin even after the semi-final defeat.
Regarding CRS, I didn´t hear any the whole time I was there (six days). I think that´s a shame, but after seeing your comments on the CRS page regarding ageism, I do think it is a generational thing. Would one be considered a wally if one used "Jam Jar" or "Plates of meat" say for instance at work? That said estuary english seems to be everywhere e.g. "Can I help you playse?"
Did you enjoy the World Cup? or was just like self-flagellation from start to end?? --IsarSteve 21:45, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Millwall F.C.
I have removed Powell for you, although I guess the Livermore thing isn't an issue enymore - I removed him too. :) It really sucks when your team gets relegated and all the good players go - although it's been a while now since Coventry went down. Anyways, see you around. Rje 17:53, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] reverting vs requesting citation
G'day Lion King,
I notice here you revert someone's removal of an uncited rumour into our article on Tim Cahill. You told him to use {{fact}} instead of removing dubious uncited statements.
In actual fact, it's entirely appropriate to remove dubious uncited statements from an article, particularly an article about a living person. You should hear some of the things User:Jimbo Wales, for example, has come out with when he notices somebody using {{fact}} on a dubious statement rather than simply removing it (it's not pretty). Moderation and good judgment in all things, of course — sometimes it's best to leave in a statement and tag it, other times it's best to remove it altogether. Just, please don't encourage people to never remove dubious statements. Thanks, fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 10:05, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sweet FA on The Beatles article
In case you weren't aware, the Featured Article status of The Beatles is under review. I am aware that you removed yourself from The Project, but I am also aware that you put in some considerable effort on that piece, and others, prior to upping sticks. If you are interested then all the usual suspects can be found just where you left them. Cheers. LessHeard vanU 22:35, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tim Cahill
Hi. I am just trying to get Cahill up to good status with reliable sources i.e. the official site for the club he plays for. It is good that it is 2 years old because it is talking about something that happened 2 years ago. As the official site has been updated - and all archived news given new urls, anything the club officially wishes to announce will be on there. The page you referred to is unofficial and the fee of £1.5 million is pure press whispers although probably a reasonable guess but still not official see Wikipedia:Reliable_sources Thanks SenorKristobbal 13:53, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Cheers its nice to see someone cares all the best SenorKristobbal 14:16, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks a lot. Very kind words. Well all the best for today. Don't forget Spackman is one of ours, too. SteveO 13:49, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Cheers same to you. I actually looked out for your result yesterday. I hope Spackman does well. Good luck for the rest of the season anyway. Here's hoping we meet you in the Cup. ;-) SteveO 13:02, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bob Dylan
Hi Lion King, I've just cast my five cents worth about keeping Dylan as Featured Article in the great debate on FARC page. best wishes Mick gold 00:02, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Lion King, many thanks for your comment, I was beginning to think I was mad in valuing this article highly, & it is the product of dozens of good contributors. I was surprised how snotty Punctured Bicycle & Wolfowitz sound. pax vobiscum Mick gold 18:31, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi Lion King, I just got your message. I wasn't around when you asked me to block this user, if this happens again you should probably list it at WP:AIV where it should gain the attention of other admins. Sorry I was unable to help, Rje 12:31, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Guitarists
Hi! I noticed your contributions to many guitar/music articles(and your "pro guitarist" template). I was wondering if you'd be interested in joining the Wikipedia Guitarists Project? We have quite a few members interested in improving Wikipedia articles related to guitarists/guitar topics in general. Your participation would be most welcome...if you can spare the time that is. Hope to see you around! Cheers and take care! Anger22 12:08, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry you don't have time to join the project. And I'm happy you could see my train of thought regarding the Albert Lee page.(some editors don't) The first time I saw Albert Lee play(about 25 years ago) I thought "There's the greatest f**king guitarist I've ever seen!" And I still think that 25 years later. But I don't think "greatest f**king guitarist" would fly on his article for too long. Cheers! Anger22 17:03, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

- I mean that the current Millwall F.C. badge is on the page of an article called: Millwall Brick, this article has no basis in truth, it emanates from a spoof Viz Comic Advertisment. This "article" is defamatory, and should be removed forthwith. Best wishes, Lion King 17:52, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- I asked you to reply here, on your talk page. If you are unable to do this, I may not be able to continue this conversation. The article Millwall brick appears to be genuine, and it has many reputable sources backing up its claims. Please provide some sort of proof that this article is untruthful. I'll remove the image, but only because I see no need for it to be there. JDtalk 17:57, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

- The sourse of this "article" emanates from Viz Comic, it has no basis in truth, I have a copy of it reproduced in issue 117 of The Lion Roars. It may have been written in good faith, but the original Viz ad was just a joke - please see my comments on the articles talk page. Lion King 18:05, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks
Thanks for text tweaking on the Gibson list. It's a slow work in progress. I am trying to build the list up to the same level that was achieved with the List of Telecaster players...which is now a featured list. "Notable" Gibson players are up into the hundreds+. My attempt is to "cut the fluff" and make the list as trim as possible without having every single "Jeff, Jimmy n Jimi" who ever touched a Gibson included. IE, "refs required"(not having much luck with the IP add-ins when it comes to that but..oh well). I am browsing about trying to find odd/interesting citations without depending on Gibson.com or NN fanpages. If you happen upon any sites or have any books that may detail Gibson use I would appreciate it if you'd let me know. And, as always, you're welcome to join up with the Guitarist Project if you can spare the time. Again, thanks cheers and take care! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 02:15, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for trying on the Gibson source. And thanks for the rv on my user page V. Cheers! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 00:59, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] re: Chet
Not sure. Good one though. I have an Chet interview(somewhere?) in a Guitar Player Magazine where he talks about his own personal switch from Gretsch to Gibson. If there are details about the models and their names....I do not know? But it's worth a dig through the attic to take a peek. I will try to look for that later on tonight and follow-up. I also have Tony Bacon's "Encyclopedia of Electric Guitars". It may have some detail as well. I am trapped in my office for the day but will definitely do the "seek n find" later on after I get home. Cheers! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 15:53, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
