Line-in Recording
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Line-in recording is a term often used by manufacturers of sound equipment to refer to the capability of a device to record line level audio feeds in stereo. Microphone inputs, by contrast, are usually mono and are designed for devices (such as microphones or electric guitars) which require further amplification to be at line-level.
