Lindi Region

Lindi is one of Tanzania's 26 administrative regions. The regional capital is also called Lindi.
The Lindi region borders on Pwani, Morogoro, Ruvuma, and Mtwara. Much of the eastern part of the region is in the Selous Game Reserve.
According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Lindi Region was 791,306. [1]
The regional commissioner of the Lindi Region is N.M. Banduka. [2]

The Lindi Region is divided into 6 administrative districts: Liwale, Kilwa, Ruangwa, Nachingwea, Lindi Rural and Lindi Urban.
