Linda and Terry Jamison
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linda and Terry Jamison (born 1965) are a pair of American identical twins who claim to be psychics who predicted the September 11th attacks two years ahead of time. [1]
While being interviewed on the Art Bell radio show on November 2, 1999, they claimed that through an automatic writing process, they were predicting that there would be a major Bin Laden attack on the federal government and the World Trade Center in 2002.[citation needed] Also, according to an article in Woman's Own magazine, and a documentary on A&E, they correctly predicted that John F. Kennedy Jr. would die by plane.[citation needed]
Critic Leon Jaroff, an essay where he described psychics, in general, as "a motley collection of mystics, charlatans, hoaxers and smooth con artists who have successfully buffaloed a good portion of the public into believing that they have supernatural powers". [2] pointed out that the Jamison twins were also frequently incorrect. For example, in December 2003, they incorrectly predicted that Saddam Hussein would be killed by U.S troops in early 2004, and that Pope John Paul II would die in June 2004 (he actually died in April 2005). They also incorrectly predicted that the Bush/Gore election would be a "crashing bore", and that actress Jennifer Lopez would announce that she was pregnant by June 2005. [1]

[edit] Biography
They grew up in the small town of West Chester, Pennsylvania, attending East Bradford Elementary School, and later Henderson High School. Their parents, Jane and Philip Jamison, were writers and painters. According to a 2006 documentary on A&E, Philip is a watercolor artist of worldwide renown, [2][3]. and the women have an older brother Flip, who has not displayed any psychic abilities.
The women themselves obtained fine arts degrees from Temple University (Tyler School of Art), and for awhile worked as performance artists. They had their own performing arts company, "Pop Theatrics," which would perform music, comedy, dance, and acrobatics in New York and Washington D.C.. According to Woman's Own magazine, one of the characters they created was a two-headed housewife, Louise, who appeared in a Saturday Night Live film. [3]
In their 30s, they began refocusing their career as psychics and convention speakers. Terry has been married and divorced, and the twins presently share a home in Los Angeles.
