Linda Chavez-Thompson

Linda Chavez-Thompson (born August 3, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas) is a Hispanic-American trade union leader. She is the executive vice-president of the AFL-CIO, a vice chair of the Democratic National Committee and a member of the board of trustees of United Way of America.
In 1997, she was appointed a member of Advisory Board to President Clinton's One America Initiative.
