Linda Arkley

Linda Arkley was the Conservative mayor of North Tyneside, England, until her defeat in 2005 by Labour candidate John Harrison. [1]

She had become mayor in 2003 when she won an election to replace Chris Morgan. She had previously been Deputy Leader of the Conservative group on North Tyneside Council. She has continued to campaign on behalf of the Conservative Party.

She represents the Preston ward on the council.
