Lin Tsung-yi

Lin Tsung-yi (Chinese: 林宗義, pinyin: Lin zōng yì; born 1920 in Tainan, Taiwan) is an academic and educator in psychiatry. He is Honorary President of the World Federation for Mental Health.[1] He was a director of the psychiatric department and an adviser of psychiatric studies at the World Health Organization.[2] He has held professorship in psychiatry at the National Taiwan University, University of Michigan, University of British Columbia, as well as honorary professorship at Peking Medical School and University of Tokyo.[3] His father, Lin Mosei, was an educator and a victim of the 228 Incident in Taiwan.
