[edit] Lin from A.I Buster 2
Lin appears in the Kamui section of A.I Buster 2. He (It is not clarified if "he" is really a "he", due to the fact he has very long hair!) is an A.I with huge butterfly wings coming out of his back, though it is unknown if he can fly or not, also, it is not certain whether Lin is one of Aura's "children" or not, as he never once metions Aura in the book. He is found playing with the character, Yukino by Kamui.Yukino claims that she had found him as a little cattapiller, and taught him to speak, and that Lin had only just recently went through a process, from a caterpillar, to a chrysalis, to a butterfly-boy. Yukino pleads with Kamui not to delete him, but Kamui does not listen, in the end, Lin gives up and orders Kamui to delete him. Kamui does so, immediately destroying his data. Yukino sobs, and the story ends with a conclusion from Kamui. Lin appears no where else in the .hack novels or anime.
