Limes Saxoniae

The Limes Saxoniae (Latin for "Limit of Saxony"; see Limes), also known as the Sachsenwall ("Saxon Wall") was a border established c. 810 between the Saxons and the Slavic Obotrites of presenty-day Schleswig-Holstein.
