[edit] Falling Uphill
Lillix released their debut album Falling Uphill in Europe and Asia on 2 June 2003 and in Canada and United States on 3 June 2003. The single releases for their debut album were "It's About Time", "What I Like About You", and "Tomorrow". The single "What I Like About You" is a cover for the song of the same name from Romantics. The song is featured on the "Freaky Friday" soundtrack, and is also the theme song for the comedy series by the same name. At the time, Lillix consisted of guitarist Tasha-Ray Evin, keyboardist Lacey-Lee Evin, bassist Louise Burns, and drummer Kim Urhahn. The band received two nominations at the 2004 Junos.
[edit] Inside the Hollow
Lillix released their second album Inside the Hollow in Canada on 29 August 2006[1] and in Japan on 6 September 2006[2]. Their first single from the second album is titled "Sweet Temptation (Hollow)" and introduces the band to a new genre of music, moving from Pop to Rock. Their second album consists of a more darker and edgy style of music than their previous release, and also introduces a new member to the band. Alicia Warrington joined as the new drummer after previous drummer Kim Urhahn departed. A United States release has been set for 1 January 2007.[3]
