Likhoelesaurus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Likhoelesaurus" (meaning "Li Khole lizard") is the name given to an as yet undescribed genus of dinosaur from the Late Triassic. It was a theropod which lived in what is now South Africa. It is named after the town where the fossils were found. The only fossils recovered have been teeth. The name "Likhoelesaurus" was coined by Ellenberger in 1972, but the genus has never been formally described. The type species is "Likhoelesaurus ingens".
