Lik-M-Aid

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lik-M-Aid has been on the market in the United States, since at least the 'mid-20th century. It was manufactured by Sunmark Brands, which was bought out by Nestlé, and is now part of the Willy Wonka product line.

Lik-M-Aid is similar to fellow Wonka-product Pixy Stix, but sold in small pouches, rather than paper or plastic straws. It is reminiscent of sweetened fruit drink powder mixes. The flavors are grape, cherry, and a blue raspberry that changes to green apple.

The Lik-A-Stix was introduced to Lik-M-Aid by the 1970s, and the combination is known as Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip. The stick resembles a rather flat stick of white chalk, in appearance, and tastes a little like a plain marshmallow. It is dipped in the various fruit flavors of Lik-M-Aid, which stick to it, once it's been licked.
