Welcome! I am Lightbearer7, a fairly new contributor to the Wikipedia community. I began editing and authoring new articles in October of 2004.
[edit] Biographical Profile
While I would prefer to not speak much of myself, I do realize that some degree of personal presentation might be helpful for the sake of validating my participation in this project.
I am a husband, a father, a Christian (Pentecostal) minister, an educator, a writer, an occasional "missionary" and a former presidential campaign field representative. My wife, four of our five children and I currently reside in Tennessee.
We have served 23 years in fulltime ministerial work with 19 of those years being in home missions regions. Our most notable work was in Northern New England (NNE).
My experience in missions includes inner-city ministry, cross-cultural work with Cambodian and African refugees, and short-term missions in Brazil, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The assignment in Africa involved reconciliation work among Hutu and Tutsi pastors.
My experience in education has included teaching at Lee University (Cleveland, TN), serving as an adjunct faculty member at one of the Vineyard’s ministry training centers (Portland, ME), coordinating Ministerial Development (NNE & MN), overseeing several ministry training institutes and external studies programs, and currently serving as an adjunct faculty member at the Church of God Theological Seminary. I also serve as Assistant Director of the Center for Pentecostal Leadership and Care -- a ministry of the Church of God Theological Seminary.
