This is from the Wiki article on Lieutenant Commander: "Until achieving the rank of Commander, it is customary to address junior naval officers as "Mister." For example, LCDR Rogers might be addressed as "Mister Rogers," or as "Commander Rogers."" Also found two sources that back up this claim. Therefore I'm reverting back to a previous edit on the subject of calling Lieutenant Commanders "Commander." -tdpatriots12
