Talk:Liebermann Inc.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As the owner of a laptop purchased from Liebermann, I can personally verify that they did ship at least some products. It just took 4 months for the product to arrive for whatever reason. User:209.139.192.234|209.139.192.234]] 14:44, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

In late 2003 I purchased a MachL 3.8 Super Desktop Computer from Liebermann powered with a Solid State Drive. It took 2 1/2 months for delivery. Its now been over 3 years working almost 24/7. Today, benching against new Core Duo desktops, I still have just about the fastest desktop computer of anyone I know of. I've had two problems with the unit to date, one with a faulty Memory DIMM that had to be replaced and another one issue with the power supply that could not handle the requirements when I updated the machine for a dual Video Graphics card configuration. I hope Liebermann Inc gets back in business soon. They don't just build the best computers. They build machines that are years ahead of everyone else. All this talk about the company being a hoax has been ridiculous from day one. My computer was over 9 grand... worth every penny. It packs L's WinXP4L (Liebermann Inc.'s high-tech version of WindowsXP Pro) and hardware to match unlike anyone else can even grasp. The hardship of these people from their beginning is only history repeating itself when no one believes something revolutionary can actually be true. When they are back up and running, hopefully with their amazing vision intact (sometimes big corporate takeovers change things) I'm in for everything they come out with. Till you have an L product, call it a hoax, impossible, not real or whatever you want... but, if one day you get one, you'll call it names that invoke only the best of true American ingenuity and the pinnacle of what the world of personal computers should be about. These are my two cents on the matter... written from what probably is (and has been for the past 3 years) the best PC computer in the world. Not a just desktop... an L desktop.

Liebermann laptops rock!!! My parents got me one when I left for college years ago and not only did it last all through college, all my collegues envy it because 3 years later, it is still the best and fastest computer they have ever seen. I'm not sure what happened to the company, but if you can get your hands on ANY of their products, take it! Mushimushi 09:51, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

That's all very well, but that doesn't mean you can completely rewrite the article and replace easily verifiable discussion of the company with your own personal opinion. The article currently only contains things that are checkable against media reports from reliable sources (although it really should link to some of them). If you wish to add anything, please stick to this rule. Your own personal experiences are not relevant. --Dtcdthingy 01:13, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure all the current entries on the talk page here are falsified by the company itself in order to give the vandalised article some credibility. If you look at the history of the talk page you can see a trail of edits that show most of the comments originating from the same source, which happens to be the same one that wrote the massive treads of spam that you reverted from. The whole thing is majorly dodgy, but then if you look at the history of Liebermann itself, it's just too scam-alicious for words. Chaos95 15:14, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
