Liberty Peak, the ninth highest named peak of the Ruby Mountains and the eleventh highest in Elko County, is located in the northeast portion of the state of Nevada in the western United States. It rises from the head of Lamoille Canyon, and is a major part of the view at the Road's End Trailhead. To the southeast are Liberty Lake and Kleckner Canyon, while to the northwest is Box Canyon. The summit rises to an elevation of 11,032 feet (3362 m). It is located at 40°35.19'N and 115°24.01'W, about 26 miles southeast of the community of Elko.
