Liberty Girl

Liberty Girl, real name Elena Hunter, is the name of a fictional female comic book character published by Heroic Publishing, created by Dennis Mallonee.
Nicknamed "America's bronze goddess of freedom," Liberty Girl was a hero from 1938 through early 1956, but went missing and was presumed dead until suddenly reappearing on July 4, 2006, the 230th anniversary of the United States' Declaration of Independence.
A preview zero issue by Mallonee and Daerick Gross was released on Free Comic Book Day 2006. The first issue of her ongoing comic book title, by Mallonee and Mark Sparacio was released in July, 2006, with the second issue released in November, 2006.
