I add some wikipedia internal links in our page this time. In addition, when you go to the page of "Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine", you can link to our page!

I found out that there are many "dead link" in "Culture" section. We need to update it, if we can't find it, just delete it.

Hi everyone, i have just read about the incident of the renaming of faculty of medicine in hku, which i was ready to write about, it's glad that someone has initiate the coverage of this incident, anyway, i've update some information, and do you guys think we should expand it more? i mean also to introduce the alumni association which defending the former name?

it relates on how you view this issue - renaming of faculty name. it's because of the LKSF, Mr. Li Ka Shing donate money to HKU. The profound impact of the renaming aroused debates and public interests. therefore, to the benefits of readers, i think we can include it in our wikipedia page.

i think we can broaden our perspective to a more comprehensive viewpoint, not just on how Mr. Li contributes a large amount of money, I think it's interesting if we also include the response of what Mr. Li does to the general public.

I sthis really important the whole part about the changing name of the faculty? we should delete that and maybe there is too much about Li Ka Shing in the background part. Mary

BTW, I tried to rephrase the part on "Funding Principle". Therefore, the remaining part you now see is not direct copying. Yesterday I deleted a large part of the direct copied materials.

Layla, are you talking about Funding Principle or the visual representation? Maybe I get a wrong message. But both of them can be found at the page of "Funding Principles" and "At a Glance" > "Statistics" respectively. Please correct me if I mis-understood your meaning.

Also, in the section "External Link - Speech", the last three of the links are direct copying from LKSF homepage, what do you guys think of remaining or deleting them?

Dear all, I remember there were controversy when HKU medical tower being named as Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. I think we can find more newspaper articles to talk about this. We can have a more balanced POV if we include more voices, not just voices that go for our organisation. Let's find more about this issue.

Hi Layla, yes, I agree that the visual representing - pie chart is very appealing. However, I believe it should be deleted because we are just direct copying from LKSF's homepage. Would other please also state their opinion?

Our due date of handing in the homework is near. I think we should refine our page a bit. I think some of the information is just repeating what is said in the official homepage, in which it's not too value-added and user-friendly. Our page should not focus on quantity only, but quality. Journalism is a process of selecting, and rewriting, how about if we delete some sections? I suggest deleting "Donation Statistics" and "Funding Principles", what do you think?

Also, I linked to another wikipedia link - li ka shing's page, so that our page can be more well-linked. Besides, "Li Ka Shing", what other key words can you think of linking it to our page?

I think that there is too much stuffs that are not really essential to the article. for exemple the paragraph about how making a donation. Instead we could just put a link to yhe LKS foundation web site and that will be enough. We have to get rid of the part from Reminder before submitting the proposal to application period. dont you think guys?

Hi there, Page looks pretty good! All the links you have (eg to newspaper articles) are great. If we could shorten it a little, by summarising some of the subsections, that would be fantastic.
