This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.

This is a promotional image released to several media outlets, hence the copyright probably originates from the studio. Its presence in the article serves the intended purpose of promoting the film, and its presence improves the appearance of the article it is part of. Simon Beavis

Fair-use rationale must be provided for each use of the image. This image was being used in the article on Kevin Spacey to depict actor rather than to illustrate movie and thus was not being used solely to illustrate the movie. The image is a screenshot from the DVD release of the film Superman Returns originally created by Warner Brothers Films, and intended for wide distribution.
The screenshot is of lower resolution than the original film (copies made from it will be of inferior quality).
No free or public domain images have been located for this film.
The screenshot does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the film in any way.
The screenshot is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original film in any way.
