Lewis is a town located in Essex County, Vermont. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of zero. Lewis is one of five Vermont towns where the population levels have dropped so low that the town has been unincorporated. The town has no local government and the town's affairs are handled by a state-appointed supervisor.
