Lew Cody

Lew Cody (February 22, 1884 Berlin, New Hampshire - May 21, 1934 Beverly Hills, California) was an American silent film actor. He was also known for the marriages of Dorothy Dalton and Mabel Normand who died on his 46th birthday, Cody soon followed 4 years later from heart disease.

Lew Cody was born in Waterville, Maine on 2/22/1884 son of L.J. Cote and Elizabeth Hebert. His parents were married 9/18/1881 in Waterville, Maine. His mother died in 1892 of heart disease and is buried in Waterville. His father remarried to Sarah Moreau of Waterville, Maine. They moved to Berlin, NH. She died 9/1/1914 and is buried in Waterville, Maine. Lew Cody died in California but is buried in St. Peters Cemetery, Lewiston, Maine with his father and grandparents.
