Levon Ananyan

Levon Ananyan (born October 13, 1946), is an Armenian journalist and translator.
1989 Member of the Writers’ Union of Armenia He was born in the Noyemberyan region, Koghb village (Now Tavush region). Graduate of the Yerevan State University, Department of Philology. He has worked for a number of state journals. For approximately 25 years he worked for the “Garoun” monthly. From 1990-2001 he was chief editor for “Garoun”. In 2001 he was elected President of the Writers’ Union of Armenia. At the same time he lectures at the Yerevan State University, Department of Journalism. He is the president of the Noyemberyan NGO. He is also a member of the Journalists’ Union. He is the author of many articles of social and political journalism, which have been printed in the state press. He has translated and published some Russian and English books. The “Apollo” Publishers was founded by Levon Ananian.
