Leverhulme Medal of the Royal Society

The Leverhulme Medal of the Royal Society first awarded in 1960 to mark the tricentenary of the society at the instigation of the Leverhulme Trust. It is awarded every 3 years in years in which the sum of each individual number of that year is 1 greater than a multiple of 3 (divisibility rule). It is awarded for contributions to pure or applied chemistry or engineering, including chemical engineering.
