Let the Eagle Soar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Let the Eagle Soar" is a song written by former Missouri Senator and U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, who is seen singing the song in a now-infamous 2002 clip first shown on CNN. The song is used ironically in Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11 and is frequently mocked on comedy shows such as The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and Late Show with David Letterman.
