Let Them Eat Cake was a short-lived British sitcom starring Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders that lasted for only one series in 1999. It was written by Peter Learmouth, and one of the only shows that French and Saunders have appeared in that they didn't create themselves.

Set at the Palace of Versailles in 1782, seven years before the French Revolution, this sitcom was based around the lives of immoral Colombine, Comtesse de Vache, her loyal maid Lisette, and acid-tonged manservant, Bouffant, in the Court of Louis XVI. Colombine's constant rival is Madame de Plonge, along with her innocent and sharp-witted daughter, Eveline.
