Let Me Be There is a song written by John Rostill. It was first recorded by Olivia Newton-John in 1973 and released as a single and then later on the album of the same title. A notable feature of Olivia Newton-John's recording would be a deep voiced male backing vocalist singing alongside her.

The song won Olivia Newton-John a Grammy award for Best Female Country Vocalist of that year.

Let Me Be There has also been recorded by Elvis Presley, before his death in 1977.
