Talk:Lest We Forget

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

but what does it mean?

common usege seems to be "lest you forget" to mean "don't you forget"

"Lest you forget, we need this brother"

-- My beef is: why is this not referred to anywhere?

"They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the evening

we will remember them. - Lest we forget!"

I suspect For the Fallen is not referenced because the poem doesn't contain the phrase "lest we forget"... Shimgray | talk | 14:23, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
The one they say at ANZAC Day? The "Ode of Remembrance"? Hmm, an article this requires. -- Saberwyn 10:01, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
