A search on Google show the actor coming up more frequently than this songwriter guy. I think this should be a disambiguation page and have this guy on Leslie Phillips (songwriter).

Search for Sam Phillips (not the nude model, btw).. that's the name that she's famous for. Leslie Phillips is just her real name and she hasn't used it for nearly 20 years. I originally had the page at Sam Phillips, but obviously that doesn't make sense because the first famous Sam Phillips was the owner of Sun Records. Would Sam Phillips (singer) make sense? -jazz77

Leslie Phillips (actor) shows up on IMDB as Leslie Phillips, whilst the singer shows up as Sam Phillips (aka Leslie).

---

I'll move her to Sam Phillips (singer). It makes more sense anyway, because that's the name she's known by. That's what should have been done originally. I'm not sure who moved my page to the Leslie Phillips page originally.. -jazz77

[edit] Contact Information?

In What Wikipedia Is Not, it is clear that Wikipedia is not meant to be a phonebook. However, this section does not clearly prohibit contact info. This info is also not likely to change, given Mr. Phillips' age.

This info was removed, and I've put it back -- not to spite the user who removed it, but because I think this might be valid under Wiki rules. LMK what you think. --Proteus71 21 Apr 2005

I would be inclined to say it shouldn't be included. Even if it doesn't breach Wiki rules it makes it a bit too much like a promotional piece. Anyone who needs to contact him can find out this info from other cources fairly easily. There's also the question of consistency. Other actors probably won't have that information in their articles. [edit] Book

"Leslie Phillips' autobiography, Hello is due to be published by Orion in 1997."
Is this copied from something ten years' old, or does it have a typo for "2007"?

Sorry! Don't know where the 1997 came from. Corrected. Bluewave 09:17, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
