Les Sekely

Les Sekely is an American radio talk show host. He can currently be heard on WEOL 930-AM in Elyria, Ohio.
Sekely's show, Les in the Morning runs on WEOL from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. weekday mornings. The show first aired on May 31, 2005, as part of a major program lineup change at the Lorain County-based news/talk station. The show is a mixture of news updates, comedy, contests and interviews. Cohosts include news anchors Craig Adams and Colleen O'Neill, plus weather forecasts from meterologist Jon Loufman and hourly sports updates from Metro Networks. Craig Adams also serves as WEOL's news director and operations manager.
A native of Westlake, Ohio, Les Sekely previously worked in Hollywood during the 1980's and 1990's as a writer for "America's Funniest Home Videos," "America's Funniest People," and on a freelance basis writing skits for Nickelodeon’s "Nick at Nite." Sekely did some writing, directing, producing and acting in several B movies, and hosted the internet-only radio show "B+ Movie Making" for five years.
Sekely moved back to Northeast Ohio community of Bay Village in 2001 with his family. Since 2002, he has also teached broadcasting and screenwriting classes at Lakeland Community College and communications at Notre Dame College of Ohio. He earned his master’s degree in teaching in 2005.
