Les Johns (born in Australia) was a rugby league player for the Canterbury Bulldogs, New South Wales and for the Australian national side. During the 1960's he was a blonde headed fullback of considerable flair and on his day could be one of the most brilliant attacking and defensive players in the game. He was extremely popular with female fans and was uniquely honoured in that some of them adored him so much that they brought hand made Les Johns dolls to matches!
