Les Houches is a village and commune in the Haute-Savoie département, in the French Alps.

It is a ski-resort, and is located 6 kilometres away from Chamonix.

There is a famous physics summer school, which has been attended by many Nobel prize laureates as teachers or students before they received their prize.
