Les Disques du Crepuscule
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Les Disques Du Crépuscule was a Belgian independent record label.
The label was started in 1980 by Michel Duval and Annik Honoré, residents of Brussels who had previously organised and promoted concerts in the city. Initial releases were by Factory Records artists, and were labelled as being "Factory Benelux/Les Disques du Crépuscule" records. The first of these was a 7" by A Certain Ratio, and singles by The Durutti Column and Section 25 followed in 1980. By late 1980, Factory Benelux was considered to be a separate label, although the two labels operated out of the same premises.
The label went on to release recordings by Michael Nyman, Josef K, Cabaret Voltaire, Bill Nelson, Richard Jobson, Paul Haig, The Pale Fountains, Tuxedomoon and many others. The label has been dormant since 2004.
