- Photo taken by me, in the fall of 2003.
- The fungi is known in Sweden as Höstmusseron. It is of the Tricholoma family. It can be found in the autums, and in southern Sweden even in November, usually on meadows, e.g. in cities. It can be eaten but doesn't taste much.
- Its destinctive characteristics is the violet stump and velvet-to brown-coloured top.
