Leopold von Hoesch

Leopold von Hoesch (1881–1936) was a career German diplomat. He was stationed in Paris in the early 1920s and following the recall of the German Ambassador in 1923 after the Ruhr crisis was appointed acting head of the German Embassy in Paris. He was the German Ambassador to France from 1924 to 1932 and to the United Kingdom from 1932 to until his death in 1936.
