Leopold
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Leopold is a given name from Austrian origin. Leopold originates from the German name Liutbald. "Liut" means "people" in Old High German, and "bald" means "bold" or "brave". Luitpold is an old-fashioned form, sometimes used within the context of the Margraves of Austria from the Babenberg dynasty.
