Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory

The Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory is a funeral home and cremation service located in Key West (rural Dubuque, Iowa). The funeral home is located at 2595 Rockdale Road. Pat Leonard is the owner and operator of this funeral home, he also manages the nearby Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Leonard opened the funeral home in the mid-1990s. The opening of the funeral home was notable in that Leonard had installed a crematorium on-site. As a result, Leonard had the first funeral home in the Dubuque area with an on-site crematorium. Prior to this those who were to be cremated had to be shipped to other communities, including Cedar Rapids, Iowa for cremation.
